Beta Firmware
Beta firmwares are tested but not as thoroughly as stable firmwares. They might still contain known or unknown bugs. Beta firmwares are the bleeding edge. They often contain new features and the latest bug fixes and security updates.
Please be careful using Beta firmwares.

Source code and Tool Chain
The source code and tool chain allow you to build your own versions of the DTG firmware. A compilation manual has been added to the source release. You need the toolchain to cross compile for the DTG architecture. Take a look at Category:Development or the development section on the forum for more info.
Freecom uses the snapgear toolchain. This toolchain, arm linux code (same as FSG) and newer versions of both can be found at their download section.
