Disassemble FSG3 Pictures

Intro

You want to know how to best disassemble your FSG? Have a look at the pictures I have taken BEFORE you go ahead with your screwdriver. The pictures should give you a general idea.

This HowTo

You can see the 'the heart of the beast', without opening it and losing your warranty.

I have taken several pictures and uploaded them. Each picture has three versions in different resolutions. Just click the "enlarge" icon and view the history (and different resolutions) of each image.

Steps

This tutorial shows you disassembly photos along with some comments.

Remove the warranty seal without breaking it. There should be a small hole between the seal and the case where the metal touches the wider plastic part. Place a knife / blade there and gently lift the seal, moving the knife / blade towards the bottom of the device. The glue is not too sticky and the seal is inherently stable, so the seal should not be damaged if you are careful.
