This is a list of things that people want do or think they should be able to do with the FSG. Some of them have been solved by users and some of them by newer versions of the Firmware.

Unresolved Issues
- FTP Passive Mode - Passive mode FTP behind a router doesn't work on any port other than 21
- FTP passive mode does not work on any other port except 21 because of the NAT from the existing routers, not the FSG. For a more in depth discussion, please do a search on the forum for FTP passive mode.
- Some PHP Applications are Broken - Some PHP Applications don't seem to work or at least don't work correctly on the FSG.
- Printer Server for more than one printers - The FSG uses different Ports for the same Printer when connecting in different order. Windows doesn't recognize the Printer at the wrong Port.
- Problems using external eSATA drives since firmware 3.3.14.
Requiring User Modifications
- USB Printer through the WAN - The ability to use a USB Printer via computers connected to a router that is connected to the FSG's WAN port.
- After changing the routername SAMBA doesn't work
- VPN doesn't work with the WAN-interface configured as DHCP-Client
- FSG and Windows Vista

- PHP Sessions - PHP sessions don't seem to work properly some of the time

- Unrestricted Access to Subfolders - Anybody can access the subfolders of an HTTP folder that's been password protected.
- Floating Point Doesn't Work in MySQL - Floating point columns and computations don't work in MySQL.
