Is a Brother HL 1450 Monolaserjet compatibel with the FSG-3?

I found the list with compitable printers wrather short for who want to justify if their investement in a FSG-3 right one. Because you have nothing to a nice device, if your printers don't work. I for my self have a Brother HL 1450 and an Epson AcuLaser C900. I hope that someone come up with a answer

I have a FSG, and I can't get i to recognise my SATA drive. the drive is already populated, and is NTSC format. According to the manual it should be picked up as an R/O device. Instead, when I plug it in, then power on the FSG it hangs and never completes its boot.
