Intro

There are people who are concerned about FSG, and do not care about open, disembowell, modify ...

If you are one of them, maybe you like these changes. If they are beautiful or not is a purely personal opinion.

Since most of the mods are related to to cooling, the available resources on the temperatures and the fan control of the FSG may be interesting:

Specification for the temps and the fan control
C sources of the fan control deamon. However, the included freecom_defs.h file is not provided (did not check, whether it is contained in the FSG firmware source code, though), but no definitions from that header file are referenced from within the sources, hence you can anyway just comment the #include statement out.

Finally, when doing experiments that have an influence on the temperature, it may be reasonable to Setup the FSG to Log its Sensors.

Do you want to know what is the normal temperature the FSG must have? Just read on:

This mod uses a larger (thus more silent, because it requires less RPMs) fan in order to reduce cooling noise.
