The second to last step is entirely unecessary. The script will already be owned by root cause you had to login as root in the first step, the symlink doesn't need to be modified at all cause symblinks are ALWAYS set to 777 and you can't change their permissions, and the sctript doesn't need to be executable because we are not executing it but just loading it with the Shell program.
