- Bitrates of 56Kbps (or maybe less than 128Kbps) are played at double speed and pitch (zdDog)
Hi Daniel, nice work, we have lots of fun
Just a thing: extension .mp3 no problem, extension .MP3 cannot be read (got a lot of them)
Rename or is it fixable?
Feature request: 1) equalizer 2) ogg and mpc support
probably not possible, but just to put the question to you anyway
thanks, zdDog
Fixed New version now fully supports uppercase extensions Add a feature request section in the article when you get around to it. -- Dbeardsl 19:11, 14 June 2006 (CEST)
Axim x51
Hi Daniel,
another thing I'll add to the feature request is the ability to play after 100% buffered each time (so not in prefs but a checkbox maybe on the player itself). Reason: I've got an Axim on wich the player works, but it hangs while it tries to download the other parts (through wireless access); once 100% downloaded it works fine, but large files can hang for a long time...
uppercase extension fix: thanks...and so fast
Fixed Version 1.2.12 now supports 'wait for 100% load before play'.
Nice tool
Hi Daniel,
Very nice tool, however it does not work in my configuration. I made a folder on the FSG called MediaPlayer where I placed the programm. I created a host at No-IP.com snarfmedia.servebeer.com. I changed the path in prefs.php, but when I open the url, i see a white page with only one line at the top:
Files in [1](?)
What am I doing wrong.
Frans
- You have to make sure $HomeDirectory is set to the absolute path of your music folder i.e. $HomeDirectory="/home/Username/MyMusic"; --Dbeardsl 14:31, 26 July 2006 (CEST)
Security
Media player is up and running now, but what about security. How can I force people to log in. Now all my MP3 files are reachable via URL without logging in.
Thanx Snarf
Media Player as part of firmware 3.2.3 beta
Hi,
Is the mediaplayer included in the beta firmware 3.2.3 the same as this one? I have configured and started it up but cannot connect to it. Any help greatly appreaciated.
